We would all like to see HATS OFF. Any idea how we can do that? If so, please do advise. The rest of us have run out of places to look for this lost film.

Can someone please assist. I do not normally like actors playng my heroes, but I saw a play on tv within a year or two ago, about Olly's last few weeks when Stan was finally persuaded to visit him on his death bed. I cannot recall the title or the actors involved, but can anyone assist with the name of the play.

Since a childhood in the early 1970s I was always excited when a laurel and Hardy film was shown on the television and of course the good old projector at school when you would sit in the hall watching films and one would always be Laurel and Hardy.
Stan and Oliver are the greatest comics of the time and thanks to a leg of lamb two geniuses were brought together. In memory of you both I salute you for making me laugh all these years and thank you so much.

I have been a life long fan of these two immortal guys!My late father claimed to have met Laurel and Hardy on their UK tour during a visit to Bristol. He also claims to have met their nemesis - Charles Middleton, he played the Fort Commandant in Beau Hunks. Not sure if dad met Charles on the same tour - but thats what I tell me friends.
It is a fine claim to make - meeting Laurel and Hardy and Emperor Ming!
Stan and Olly - the greatest.

We have just returned from a visit to the Lake district in the UK.
The area where Stan was born, we traveled to see his home town of Ulverston before coming home,
It was very inspiring to walk the same streets Stan walked as a child and look at the same buildings.
While there we looked in at the L&H museum,
2 entrance stay as long as you like
and watch the guys films in a small theatre there.
These shorts need to be shown on main stream TV
God bless you guys

So, when is some movie company going to release a box set of Laurel and Hardy shorts and/or features in the United States?

MY MOTHER HAS A HAND WRITTEN LETTER FROM STAN LAUREL AND A SIGNED PHOTO OF THEM BOTH WHEN THEY WERE IN BELFAST IN 1952. MY FATHER WAS A GREAT FAN AND MY MOTHER HAD WRITTEN TO THEM ASKING THEM TO SEND THEM A LETTER FOR THEIR 1ST ANNIVERSARY. WE STILL HAVE THE LETTER/PHOTO AND THEY ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. I WAS WONDERING IF IT WOULD BE WORTH ANYTHING TO THE RIGHT PERSON.
